Private Practice - Hypnotherapy Sessions in Atlanta, GA

Along with my busy schedule of hypnotherapy instruction, I maintain an active private practice at my office in the Norcross section of Atlanta.

Dr. Skillas teaches the NGH Hypnotherapy Certification Course from the unique perspective of Internal Negative Forcing Functions and Body Energy Flow Disruption at the Cellular Level. This perspective was developed by Dr. Skillas to satisfy the logic of scientifically trained people who want to know and understand the physical and mental dynamics of the mind-body relationship. Dr. Skillas came to his understanding of these physio-psychodynamics from his 40 years background in state-of-the-art technology in the Defense Industry, his educational background with a Doctorate in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and over 2000 hours of training in Hypnotherapy.

His unique concept and approach to teaching hypnotherapy elucidates the relationship between cellular level energy blocks caused by Negative Forcing Functions in the Subconscious Mind and Resultant Behavior and Response to Life. He teaches how to clear the Negative Forcing Functions in the subconscious using hypnotherapy uncovering and releasing techniques and how to effectively reprogram the subconscious for permanent change. He recognizes the Negative Forcing Function of Spirit Attachment, which interferes with most psychotherapy and teaches his students how to release them.

Dr. Skillas is a National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (BCH), a Fellow of the NGH (FNGH) and an NGH Certified Instructor in Hypnotherapy (CI). He has practiced Energy Healing and Hypnotherapy since 1981, is a member of the faculties of St. Johns University and the National Board of Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anesthesiology and is President of the GA Chapter of the NGH. He earned a Doctorate in Engineering, a Doctor of Divinity in Spiritual Healing Arts and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

He is Certified in: Clinical Hypnotherapy and Hypnotherapy Instruction, Master Level Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Transformational Counseling, Cell Command Therapy, Spirit Releasement Therapy, Hypnotic Anesthesiology, Advanced Pain Control and Emergency Hypnosis and Past Life Regression Therapy. He is a member of The National Guild of Hypnotist, The National Board of Hypnotherapists and Hypnotic Anesthesiologists, The National Federation of Neurolinguistic Psychology, The National Federation of Hypnotists, a Licensed Professional Engineer and is listed in Who's Who in America.

My little dog, a Shih Tzu, who goes by the name of "Sweetsiepootsy" is my Clinical Associate and helps me in my practice and teaching. She greets my clients at the door with her "baby" exuding love for them. During the talk part of the session she remains close by offering comfort and support. She goes into hypnosis with the client showing them that they have nothing to fear and at the end of the session, when they come out of hypnosis, she welcomes them back. She expresses unconditional love and freedom. This is what we are all trying to achieve and Hypnotherapy helps us get there!
