Healing Rewards

By Charles Wm. Skillas, PhD, DD, BCH, CI, FNGH, MCCHt

Doing healing work is not only gratifying for the person being helped but is very rewarding to the healer. Being able to help clients with serious problems is one of life's greatest compensations. It can be likened to the refrain regarding the Quality of Mercy that says that the one who gives mercy is just as blessed as the one who receives it. One of the most wonderful messages that a healer can receive is to get a call from his client saying that they are now well and don't need the rest of their scheduled appointments. This is a sublime moment because it means that your work has been successful and your client is healed. This is what my healing work is all about.

The bottom line in this work is "does your client get better". No matter how gifted you are as a healer, if your clients don't get better, you are failing as a healer. Sometimes, your client will not complete the work for various reasons and sometimes they just don't want to be involved anymore. In these cases, there is little you can do to help them beyond what you have already done. Ultimately, we are all responsible for ourselves. Part of the healer's responsibility towards the client is to do all that is reasonable to convince the client that he must continue with the work until it is complete and successful. Many people with very serious and long standing problems that they have had for 20 - 30 years expect to be healed in one or two sessions. It does not usually work that way, with some exceptions. For example, if a person's psychic defense system went down when they were five years old because they had the measles and they picked up a negative energy, a portal into themselves becomes open and over the years, many other foreign energies can enter them. A person of forty years could have many layers of negative energies on them that that they have picked up in 35 years and these must be cleared to restore life force energy flow and health.

A case in point is that of Cynthia, a 57-year-old very successful businesswoman who called me a couple of years ago and about a lot of problems she was having in her life. When I heard her recital of all her problems, I thought she was kidding. She said she had been under the care of medical doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists for the past 22 years and had also seen acupuncturists, massage therapists, physical therapists, and several energy healers without any real benefit. When I told her that I wasn't able to work on any of her conditions directly because I was not a licensed professional and that what I actually did was to restore the flow of life force energy to the cell communities of the body using hypnotherapy, she said she was willing to have me try to help her using my techniques. Cynthia said she had run out of options and so was willing to try anything that might help her.

Cynthia's list of problems included mental, emotional and physical symptoms. Her problems, as she related them to me, included:

  • Uncontrollable anger
  • Insomnia
  • Great fear
  • Self esteem issues
  • Bruxism (teeth grinding)
  • Severe depression
  • Anxiety
  • Persistent reflux
  • Female problems
  • Severe back and hip pain
  • Unrelenting pain in chest and right shoulder
  • Breast cancer
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Two herniated disks and stenosis of the lower spine.

Some of these symptoms obviously were related to one another…but you get the idea…a lot of stuff going on.

I had eleven two-hour sessions with Cynthia over a period of two years. We could have done it quicker, but she traveled a lot in her work. Usually, I try to see clients at least once per month. During these sessions, I did the following work: Five past life regressions, removed fifteen demons, released five earthbound spirits, removed three soul-mind fragments (SMF) of other people attached to her and resolved two unconscious internal conflicts. After clearing her of all these blocking energies (negative forcing functions), I did some reprogramming of her subconscious mind. The reprogramming partially consisted of Ego strengthening, enhancing self-love and self-acceptance, suggestions of positive ways for effective living and suggestions for physical healing and cellular regeneration. All of this work was done under deep trance hypnosis using appropriate prayer protection rituals.

Cynthia had two more appointments scheduled when she called me, asked me to cancel them because she was well, and did not need any more therapy.

What beautiful words to hear!
